CINNAMON SWIRL PANCAKE

If you khave read my blog for a while, you might realize I have posted a few blogpost about my love towards pancake. You can see it here, here, here, and here. I always try new ideas to make a new combination for my pancake. The other day I was craving some cinnamon so I decided to make Cinnamon Swirl Pancake. It's been all over the internet and I've seen some of the recipe but as always I tried to make it as healthy as I can. So I substitute some of the ingredients with the healthier options.

First, you have to make the pancake batter. My usual healthy oatmeal pancake ingredients are oatmeal powder, milk, baking powder, and eggs. The exact measurement can be found here.
Now here comes the fun part, the cinnamon mix. I mixed cinnamon, brown sugar, and coconut oil for healthier option. I heated and let them melt to create paste for the cinnamon swirl.

Now it's time to make them. Heat up your non stick pan with some coconut oil. And scoop your pancake batter onto the pan. After it started to bubble up on top, swirl on the cinnamon paste on top and let them bubble for couple seconds then flip it over. Let it heat up for a minutes and place it on your plate. Remember! Wipe your pan everytime you make a new pancake.

Voila! Now I have a new addition for my breakfast list. It is fluffy and delicious. You guys should try it and let me know what you think.

xoxo,

  1. OH MY GOSH, I WANT IT. Pancakes are the best thing ever! I feel like I need to make every Sunday a 'pancake day' and try a different type of pancake every week! That would be the best thing! Drooooool.
